Leeds Lieder and Schubert Institute Song Prize. April 28 at The Venue, Leeds College of Music. A cash prize of £1000 will be awarded to the winners and they will be invited to appear at the Leeds University International Concert Sreies in 2020. The prize has been made possible by the generosity of one of our members and will be awarded annually fo the forseeable future.

Schubert Institute UK Day. May 4 at the Pumprooms, Leamington Spa as part of the Leamington Music Festival. Will include an illustated talk by Professor Brian Newbold and the Fitzwilliam Quiartet on Schubert's Quartet in G D887 with a performance of the quartet in the evening.

The AGM 2019 and the London Schubert Day will be held at the Guildhall School of Music on June 1. In the afternoon there will be a recital of Schubert Lieder by Harriet Burns (soprano) and Michael Pandya (piano) including Suleika I and II and Im Abendrot.

The Rhosygilwen Schubertiade (the 6th) will be held at Mentyr Rhosygilwen, Pembrokeshire from Oct 18-20. Artists include Llyr Williams and the Ben Frith Quartet.

The Vorarlberger Schubertiaden will be held at Hohenems April 27- May 5; July 13-14; September 20-21 and October 2-9, and at Schwarzenberg June 22-30 and August 24-September 1. Many internationally distinguished artists will be appearing.
